Zero stars would be best. It's all a scam. They lure you in with supposedly great offers but then demand a $50 deposit, which they charge twice and you never get your money back. We were promised lunch at another hotel, but instead we got a three-hour sales presentation and no lunch. If you don't want to be scammed, stay far away!!! Trust the bad reviews!

The worst company in the universe. Scammed me out of 50 dollars to go see a time share on my birthday and promised a free 3 day 2 night stay in which the code didn't even work.

Very confusing! I recently had a disappointing experience with ‘Take A Break’ in Las Vegas. After paying $50 and being given a time to show up, I arrived only to find there was confusion about how to actually get an Uber or proceed with the service. The lack of clear information made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe, so I ended up cancelling on the spot. The staff didn’t seem prepared to manage the situation. I hope the company improves their communication and customer service going forward.

I’m giving one star review because it the only way to leave a comment. This company is a scam. They yes you and schedule you for your dates, after you are very clear about your agenda and itinerary. They schedule you for a date that you did not pick and after you pay they said they can’t give you the date you requested and put you in for a date you were clear you could not attend. Then they said they are sorry for the inconvenience and continue to inconvenience you but saying they will only refund you if you go in person to one of their booths! Meanwhile you told them your itinerary so it’s not possible because our agenda is packed and they won’t do a refund over the phone after SCAMMING you.

I stayed at the Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas from May 11–14, 2025, and was approached by Zoe Yarbrough, a representative of “Take A Break Travel.” She offered what appeared to be a great promotion: discounted show tickets and $100 in free play or dining credits at MGM properties. She later claimed the promotion had increased to $175. Zoe told us we could attend a short timeshare seminar, and repeatedly assured us that just attending—even if we left early or declined the timeshare offer—would qualify us for the $175 credit. She emphasized this several times and gave us her personal cell phone in case we had any issues. Based on her promises, we checked out of our hotel early, stored our luggage, skipped getting ready, and even extended our car rental to make it to the seminar. But the moment we arrived, we were told we would not receive any promotional credit unless we stayed a minimum of two full hours. When I called Zoe, she completely backtracked on everything she had said, referencing fine print she never disclosed. Her tone changed, and she denied ever telling us we could leave early. This experience was frustrating, deceptive, and a waste of our time. While the seminar staff did refund a $25 tip I gave to hotel staff for handling our bags, it didn’t make up for the disruption to our plans or the feeling of being misled. Visitors should be cautious of Zoe Yarbrough’s pitches. Her approach felt manipulative and dishonest, and it reflects poorly on Take A Break Travel. I hope others avoid a similar experience and get everything in writing before agreeing to any such promotions.
