Stayed here for 3 weeks this summer with our Champ. Probably the best airport experience we’ve ever had. Dan and Randy were super accommodating, the FBO is very nice, bathrooms, courteous car, courtesy bikes, coffee, and a pilots lounge with a few sofas. Good fuel price as well. Grass cross wind is well maintained. Also, the blueberry fest fly in is not to be missed. Would highly highly recommend KLWA as a destination or a fuel stop.

Great job. Responsive, caring, resourceful, anticipating needs. Allowed us to camp at the airport when we could not find a room during a busy weekend.

I just wonder if this could be Randy Miller out of Michigan City Indiana. Who I knew as a young kid who had more sense than his Butt than the average pilot had in his head. If not, oh well, look forward to coming up there and dropping in the Cessna 195.

Landed about 4:30pm and was lucky enough to meet Randy before he left for the day. He was super chill and helpful. We got to borrow the courtesy truck to hit downtown for a couple hours before flying back home. Really nice, clean facility and good gas prices.
