Great airport as it is OPEN!!! Meaning, not anywhere near the crowds you see elsewhere. Great bar for eatery and great charging ports EVERYWHERE!!! I seriously miss AirTran and the cheap flights, hopefully this airport will bounce back in some capacity for more carriers to want to fly from this airport. Staff is friendly, even getting a rental car is nice and easy. No pushiness when dropping off or picking up anyone. Yeah, hopefully this airport improves for the better!!

Pics are from 9:30AM on Christmas Eve, 2025. This airport is always so clean and the staff is friendly. The HERO lounge for veterans is absolutely amazing! No planes at the airport until ours arrived from Charlotte to take us to Charlotte. PHF is so convenient for the peninsula. Executives need to sacrifice the profit margin to allow affordable flights to/from this airport before it’s completely shutdown.

Just like the slogan for PHF, my experience was easy going and pleasant! Airport was clean and well kept, definitely will look to fly through again.

Fantastic Courtyard. The Front Desk was very kind and conversational. The room I got was nice and clean, and the walk-in shower was nice, as well. Not too far from the airport, either.

I traveled here using American Airline, and had a great experience with them. My baggage arrived earlier, so it was behind the American Airline's kiosk. The staff member asked for my ID to make sure that the item does indeed belong to me. I like that they are checking IDs to confirm who you are. It ensure the stuff is getting to whoever it needs to get to. The airport was clean, and there are plenty of seatings. There are very informative voice recording playing throughout the ground transport section. It looks to be a very nice airport. The facility is handicap accessible. As of November 2021, masking is required in order to board the airplane. I did not have any problems here, and hope to come back here again in the future.
