I’ve been calling for a year about how my payment keeps rising. I was told someone would call me back just a week ago. I said that’s what I was told the last 3 times. She said I can assure u I will call u back. A week later I call back n ask to speak with Beth. She wouldn’t let me. My insurance has raised $75 n less than a year. She told me it’s cause the hurricanes n fires mine goes up too hmm I don’t live in those areas. N I’ve not had a wreck or a ticket or missed a payment!!! Oh n she was extremely rude when I told her I’m tired of being told the same thing n I was being nice and calm. I’m not calm about this anymore.

Instead of actually caring about keeping customers… they would rather let your insurance lapse instead of calling or reaching out and letting you know a payment didn’t process. Now I’m stuck having to pay a $500 dollar reinstatement fee for my registration because my insurance lapsed when it’s suppose to come out automatically. Had no clue it didn’t process through. Regret switching to them to be honest.

Do not recommend!!! 1. They will never call you back they say they will but they wont…. Ever. 2. They lie to you and to each other I have left a message in June 10 2024 to add my 16 yr old cause she got her license never heard a word so I called back beginning of July 2024 I spoke with Lesly and she told me that they never added my daughter in June so she added her for July and my insurance went from 297 a month to 549 a month so I had to drop them I can’t afford that much I don’t know who can. So after everything was said and done I canceled them for July 23 went someplace else. Come Oct/nov got a letter from collection agency for 255.00. For 3 m I called and try to get an answer for why I owe 255 nothing for 3 months I finally drove to the office 34 minutes away and finally was told it’s because they added my daughter in June smh I know right what liars smh ……. RUN AND RUN FAST FROM THEM

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Don’t waste your money with this company they do not care about their customers and their customer service proves that. They are quick to take your money out of your account for payments but when it comes to YOU needing their services and to help you they don’t even try. I’ve been with Nationwide/hazen agency for well over a total of 8 years. And I’ve only ever had 1 glass claim while with them. I bought my wife’s car in 2021 and requested to have an OEM endorsement on her car meaning if she was in an accident that the insurance would put OEM parts back on it. Well she got in an accident in July, I called and her car did not have that endorsement. The body shop said they would try to price match all the parts for me, which they did all except 1 part, and it was a 60 dollar difference, I called and spoke with Jason 1 time and he said he would talk to someone at the body shop and call me back. he claimed he knew the lady very well. Never called me back. I talked to the body shop they never reached out. So I called again to try to talk to Jason. He told the lady on the phone to tell me I had to call the adjuster that it was out of his hands, I called they said I had to talk to my agent or whoever wrote my policy. Which was the hazen agency called back with no answer of the phone multiple times and also left messages for a call back. No call back. I also work on cars and help run a family business myself. If it was $60 dollars to either lose a LOYAL customer of over 8 years never complained about bills never had a late payment. I personally would have took the 60 dollars out of my pocket and drove it the 3 minutes away to the body shop to pay for the difference to make the situation right and keep my customer happy. But instead I was ignored. My wife’s car is fixed the way I wanted it to be on my own and Nationwide’s has lost me as a customer with multiple vehicles and my homeowners insurance. NATIONWIDE IS NOT ON YOUR SIDE.

I moved and apparently owed Beth $101.86. I was completely unaware and they never contacted me through call, letter, text, or email. I would have paid the small balance immediately. They instead put a delinquent account on my credit reports and sold the debt to a collection agency. Absolutely would not recommend. Look at all of their recent 1 star ratings, then find a different insurance provider.
