We had a great time with this tour. Archie was our bus driver and tour guide and like others have said, very informative and pleasant along the way with his jokes and information about the area. While on our way there and back, he definitely will let you know if there are eagles and which I was lucky enough to take a quick photo of. I believe they have upgraded their buses because when the bus picked us up, it was a fairly new and a comfortable ride with ample space. Everyone was seated and there were no standees. The only issue (not really one imo) when arriving was finding their tent as it wasn't identifiable and just a plain green canopy but the other tour operators directed us to it without issue. They were organized and issued colored lanyards so you knew what time your tour started and to follow the group.

We took the Mendenhall Glacier tour. The driver was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He shared a lot of Juneau info with us and was entertaining. There are 2 reasons I have this 2 stars even we really liked the driver . . . #1 - the group organizer was exceptionally rude. We had 2 members of our party with mobility issues so they told us to wait on the benches near the bus and they’d come get us. The driver eventually opened the doors and another party started boarding so we walked over and got on, as well. The group organizer came on the bus and yelled at us all like we were 4-year old children. We were apparently supposed to wait for her to board but the driver started letting people on, so how were we to know differently. I haven’t been spoken to in such a punitive way since I was a kid. That did not set a good tone for the trip. #2 - the tour doesn’t include anything except for transportation to Mendenhall Glacier. You could take the town trolley or an Uber for way less. The driver did add to our experience, but not enough to make it worth the additional money. If we had known how close Mendenhall Glacier was to downtown and how easy it was to get there, we never would have booked an organized trip. Especially this one where you have the pleasure of being yelled at by an excessively rude 20-something year old.

Stopped in Juneau on a cruise ship. We booked the ride independently to and from Mendenhall glacier. The bus was clean and comfortable. Driver was friendly and funny. They got us there a little early and we then had just over two hours to explore nugget falls, the glacier, visitor center, and surrounding trail. Communication by M&M was consistent and clear. Would book through M&M again.

Had a good time with Archie. There’s a lot of buses and tours going to Mendenhall(some for cheaper) but I think it’s nice to have a guide talk through the trip to add a bit of colour.

Took the Mendenhall Glacier tour. It was basically a bus ride, with some comment by the driver/tour guide. Guide was pretty funny, but provided very basic information.
