I went on this trip because I didn’t want to wait on other people to start traveling. All my friends are married and starting to have kids and I’m just not at that place in my life right now. However, the idea of solo travel to a country that I don’t speak the language was nerve wracking. I am so happy to have found Legit Trips! My experience exceeded all expectations that I had going into the trip. I’m a Type A personality but everything was meticulously planned without feeling stiff. If there were any issues, they were extremely small and resolved almost immediately. For me, the best part about traveling with Legit Trips is that everything is planned for you, with the options of down time or to add more activities. The activities that were included with the itinerary were approachable but still adventurous. I never would’ve booked an activity for dog sledding or sleeping in a literal igloo in the Arctic for myself, but I will never forget these experiences and I’m so glad I moved forward with booking! I can’t wait for my next trip with them to Japan, and highly recommend this company to anyone looking to travel without the desire to research and plan the itinerary! I felt 100% comfortable as a solo female traveler and made some awesome friends along the way.

I cannot recommend Legit Trips enough!! This was my very first time out of the country, and to go to Tanzania was an absolute dream. Kristen was incredible every step of the way, answering my girlfriend and I's questions both before, during, and after the trip. From the moment our plane landed, we were in safe hands, and the travel group that we were with were amazing. We all learned so much about the culture of Tanzania, and had so many animals walk right up to our trucks when on Safari. To go from never having flown out of the country, to doing so, and making new friends along the way is a dream. I cannot wait to book another Legit Trip in the future!

I just got back from the Lapland trip and it was so incredible! Every day was filled with new adventures. From staying in a glass ceiling hut and being able to see the northern flights from my bed to dog sledding across the snowy North Pole — this trip was one of a kind! And one I will never forget! The trip leader was able to make all things possible, if you ask, you get! I am already signing up for my next Legit Trips the day after getting back!

Traveled to Peru in Oct 2025 with my husband. There were 11 in our group, including the Legit Trips leader, Mandy. Mandy was a ray of sunshine, empowering all of us to work hard, laugh hard, and listen to our bodies. Definitely take a trip with her if you can! She listened to each of our feedback throughout so that she can continually improve upon the experience! She was positive and kept our energy and morale up even at the most demanding points. The trek was challenging, especially at first with getting used to altitude, but by the end was an epic adventure with great people, accommodations, food, and scenery. I have never done a trip like this before so I am incredibly proud of myself for being able to experience it! I would definitely do another legit trips journey! It was well organized and every little detail was superb and worth every penny.

I just got back from the 2025 Antarctica trip and had an absolute blast. The trip leader, Lauren, did a fantastic job, and as a group we meshed so well. As a solo traveler, it was really fun to have a paired roommate and to not have to travel alone. We are all already considering taking more trips with Legit Trips!
