Captain Mac and crew Jayden and Calvin were fantastic! Very knowledgeable and we saw whales within minutes of leaving the harbour. It was late in the season so we were nervous we might not see any. They took us straight to the best locations and we saw whales barnacles, Sasha and her calf Cha Cha. Great tour, also the views of the glaciers and mountain ranges.

Stopped in Juneau on my Alaskan cruise this past summer. I wanted to visit Mendenhall Glacier but didn’t want to book an excursion through my cruise ship. Booked a glacier tour right at the port. The woman who book my tour was super knowledgeable and helpful. Booked a 2-hour tour which was the perfect amount of time to see the glacier and go for a hike as well. My driver and guide was Troy. He was super nice and communicated with us well. 10/10 recommend this company if you are visiting Juneau.

Wonderful experience - saw 4 humpbacks, including one about 25 yds away, in early October. Surrounded by perfect scenery. Boat was good size: even with a full boat there was room for everyone to have a good view. Wonderful crew - Knowledgeable, kind, fun, and had a knack for maximizing your time with the whales before moving on to find another whale.

We did the whale watching and glacier tour with guides Owen, Ben and Carrie, which was great!!! The team were very welcoming, knowledgeable about whales and the surrounding area, a good laugh and very professional. We were able to see a few whales and the glacier in the background was very beautiful. The tour was punctual (12:30), 100% recommended

We had an unforgettable experience with Juneau Tours and Whale Watch on a stunning September day in Juneau. The tour took place aboard one of their newer boats, which was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for wildlife viewing. With 40 passengers and a fantastic 3-person crew—Captain Ben, Sarah, and Noah—we felt safe, informed, and thoroughly entertained. All three crew members were seasoned professionals, but special kudos go to Sarah, whose passion for Alaska and the whales was infectious. She shared fascinating stories and facts, blending her personal background with deep local knowledge in a way that made the entire trip even more meaningful. It took a little time to reach the whales, but the wait was absolutely worth it. We ended up seeing about 6 of the 9 whales spotted that day—an incredible experience! The crew was respectful of wildlife regulations, keeping a 1,000-yard distance to ensure the whales’ safety and comfort, which we really appreciated. As a bonus, we also got a breathtaking view of Mendenhall Glacier from the water—a perfect addition to the tour. Overall, this was a highlight of our Alaskan adventure. The tour was well-organized, informative, and exciting from start to finish. Definitely well worth the money. Highly recommended!
