Book this tour! Allan is a terrific tour guide. We did not want to book a cruise excursion because we enjoy the smaller, more knowledgeable local tours when we travel. We were able to reach Allan very easily and he provided options for us (when the weather forecast was a little questionable). However, the weather was great and Allen provided a fantastic tour! He is professional, knowledgeable about the area, and was able to take us to several beautiful sites around Juneau. We learned a lot, had a lot of laughs and now have wonderful memories! We were on a cruise arriving in Juneau and thought that the shore excursions offered by the ship were very expensive for what was offered. we decided to look locally and found Juneau Local Tours. the price was right and the description of the tour seemed interesting. we decided to give them a chance. Wow! we were taken care of from the get go. Allan picked us up right at the pier and brought us away in his comfortable SUV. there were 5 of us and no one complained about being uncomfortable. Allan brought us around to see the sites, and we went to places that only the locals knew about. his knowledge of the local Flora and Fauna were second to none. We could visit at our own pace and we're never pressed to continue. Allan went out of his way to show us a few places that we asked about without ever making us feel like we were pushing. And having a supply of snacks and water available to us at all times was very nice. I would recommend Allan and Juneau Local Tours to anyone going up to Juneau without hesitation.

Juneau Local Tours is a lovely option for those wanting some say in their touring experience. Allan is very kind and flexible, with lots to share about Juneau. Iʼd definitely recommend this option for people wanting a customizable, cozy/intimate tour. We enjoyed a trip out to the Shrine of St. Therese at sunset and even saw a whale!
