An honest review from a pilot who sees a lot of FBO’s! Flightlevel Norwood gets a genuine 5 star rating from me. I am the owner/operator/pilot of a small air-taxi business and I fly into OWD several times a week during the busy season. Mike, Chris, Ben, Paul (the new guy) and all of the line guys take excellent care me and my airplane. The service is friendly and prompt, the crew lounge is comfortable and there’s never an issue if I need a crew car to grab a quick bit for lunch. As a busy operator it’s the small simple things that make my day easier, park me close to the FBO, get me fueled fast and keep the prices reasonable and checkout simple, Flightlevel does all of the above. This was my 4th time to OWD, and as usual, great service. Line crew and Front desk are super friendly, pricing is not bad at all considering how close to Boston it is, and the crew car is clean and modern. Definitely recommend stopping here is you ever find yourself on a trip up to the Boston area.

Overpriced Maintenance! Plane was stranded there Monday thru Thursday with a bad starter. People were nice, but work was over-priced and took a long time. Paid $1243 to have our starter replaced, plus $341 for cowl work, for a total of $1584 in emergency repairs. They charged $716, plus $92 shipping for a sky-tec starter that Aircraft Spruce sells to the public for $431. It took four business days because the first starter ordered was a different brand and didn't have the right brackets. If you get stranded there with a maintenance need, might want to consider having your normal mechanic fly in to fix it.

The management needs to actually learn what it means to be a aircraft owner/operator. If you need Maintenance go some else.... very far away. The MX management never turned a wrench or will ever understand mechanics or customer service. However if you like big MX bills sign up here. The MX manager has never worked in the hangar.

I couldn’t believe how amazing we were treated by the staff from FlightLevel at Norwood. I take my little cousin all the time to see the planes at KOWD (he wants to be a pilot go figure) and the other day one of the workers from FlightLevel recognized us and offered to take us around to see some of the planes. Needless to say it was the best day ever for my little cousin!
