We started researching travel agencies when planning our honeymoon - we were getting overwhelmed with trying to plan a trip to a new country (Greece) as it is easy to get information overload when researching. We connected with Signy at Fernweh and had an exploratory call; we were able to say what things were important to us to see/do when travelling, what things were less important, and any must-haves. Signy and her team took this information and developed an amazing preliminary itinerary, giving us multiple options for activities and free days. After a quick back-and-forth we received a clearly laid out, thoughtful, and useful itinerary that was indicative of exactly what we wanted our honeymoon to be. The communication we had with Fernweh was clear and consistent and ensured there were no surprises or confusion on arrival. We were given several additional resources to supplement the itinerary, and had personnel we could contact as needed when on our trip, whom also gave expedited responses. Shortly before our trip, Signy reached out to let us know that construction had started near one of our booked hotels, and recommended several other options (giving advice, recommendations, and pricing for each option). This is something we would not have known about had we booked the hotel ourselves and not used Fernweh. We cannot recommend Fernweh Luxury Travel enough - the clear communication, understanding of our needs, and additional resources provided made our honeymoon stress-free and memorable.

We used Signy Ireland of Fernweh Luxury Travel to plan a two week tour of Sicily that included travel by car with road bike riding on 8 of the 12 days. The hotels that were booked were exceptional as was the tours booked, the layout of each day and the recommended riding routes. Barbara Larato of Eracle Travels based in Sicily was our on ground support. She was organized through Fernweh Travel. Her assistance helped with any last minute issues and even last minute restaurant bookings and communications with upcoming hotel stays. We would not have been able to fully experience Sicily without the skilled assistance of Fernweh Luxury Travel and Signy Ireland.
