Doreen booked us the most magical honeymoon of our lives. Every accommodation and transfer was perfectly thought out and catered to our specific requests. She booked us a 10 day trip in Italy where we traveled between City Life, Wine Country, and Oceanside Paradise. Each hotel offered a unique taste and experience and we were able to truly dive into the different cultures and atmospheres being in the heart of each location. They were distanced perfectly from our planned excursions and our ride transfers were timed exactly as needed. We were in for a bigger suprise when we learned that our last hotel offered a free daily 1 hour spa treatment. Needless to say, we had the most fun, exciting, yet relaxing honeymoon we could have possibly asked for. I’m so grateful! There’s no way we could have planned and pulled this off ourselves. After having experience with her organizing a trip a few years prior I decided to contact her for a girls trip. I scheduled a meeting with her a little over a week in advance. On the scheduled appointment day, I arrived anticipating being able to arrange travel. Instead, nothing was accomplished, and I wasted my time. By appointment only is clearly stated on her door. There was another couple there as well as I waited to be seen. I assumed they were awaiting for a different agent. She asked the pair if they had an appointment after finishing up with the man sitting at her desk. They answered no then she asked how she might assist them. I waited patiently, not thinking too much at the time, anticipating that it would just take five minutes and that she would tell them she had an appointment to see first. I was entirely mistaken. Not only did she ask them to sit with her, not once was I even given the courtesy of being asked whether I was okay with waiting a moment. Though I remained patient, I had anticipated a brief conversation; after 15 minutes, I made the decision to stand up and let her know I was leaving. She inquired about me having an appointment as though she had no idea of her own calendar. "Yeah, we were supposed to go to Greece at 12pm, but now I need to go," I said. When she asked whether I could wait much longer, I replied I was on my lunch hour. Holding out hope and granting her the benefit of doubt I informed her exactly what I was searching for, number of travelers, and the dates. We went over my contact information before leaving, and she assured to call me with all the trip information. Unfortunately, more than two weeks have passed with no call, follow-up, or even apologies for wasting my time. Doreen should understand that being professional, keeping scheduled appointments, adhering to your own appointment standards, and having the decency to carry out the services you are promising are all essential. This was the epitome of disrespect for my time and lack of professionalism. Thanks to Reney Tours in Connecticut, another travel firm, the service was exceptional. They respected my time and made sure to arrange for everything required to make this next trip successful. Word of advise : Some companies neglect professionalism because so many residents believe they are the sole providers of services in the area. Do your homework and research there are plenty of other incredible businesses with amazing services!
