Despite the cold weather and freezing temperatures, Lisa (our tour guide) and Libni (our driver) did an absolutely amazing job navigating us through the city. Lisa was incredibly knowledgeable—her explanations, stories, and insights helped me learn so much throughout the tour. She kept the entire group engaged, informed, and excited, even in the chilly weather. Truly outstanding! Libni, our driver, was just as impressive. Calm, skillful, and attentive, he made sure we were comfortable and safe the entire time. His driving through the city was smooth and reassuring. Together, they made the entire experience unforgettable. Bravo to both Lisa and Libni! Highly recommended.

Our 5-day vacation in the Big Apple (NYC) was perfect from start to finish! Knowing we’d be covering a lot of ground in Manhattan and beyond, we decided to book the Big Bus Tours 48-hour Hop-On/Hop-Off Pass and their Times Square Night Tour. 48-Hour Hop-On/Hop-Off Pass (Highly Recommended) • Convenience is key: The pickup location (near the M&Ms store) was just blocks from our hotel, making it incredibly easy to start our day. And buses run every 20 minutes, and the app will show you the location of all the Big Buses headed your way. • Excellent Value: This pass was the most convenient way to navigate Manhattan, efficiently taking us from Midtown down to the Financial District with many essential stops along the way. • Verdict: The 48-hour pass is absolutely worth the price. Times Square Night Tour (A Must-Do!) • Unforgettable Experience: Traveling up top, we experienced the dazzling New York City lights from Manhattan all the way across the bridge to DUMBO, Brooklyn. This is where you'll capture some truly awesome pictures and make memories to last a lifetime! • Exceptional Guide: Our guide, Shelley, was fantastically friendly, funny, and highly informative. As a fellow native of Los Angeles, we felt an extra connection, but her passion for the city lights shone brightly for everyone. I highly recommend Big Bus Tours for anyone visiting NYC!

We got the 48-hour pass, which included the night tour and the Statue of Liberty cruise. Overall, I think the value was good. The only downside is that during rush hours there’s a lot of traffic in NYC, so you end up wasting quite a bit of time on the bus. The routes could also be improved with more stops — in some areas, you don’t really get the same hop-on-hop-off experience I’ve had in other cities or countries. The night tour with a live guide was much better than the recorded audio. Special thanks to Rick and Ivan (our tour guide and driver) who made it such a beautiful experience for us! The street staff selling tickets, however, were not very friendly. As soon as they realized we had already purchased our tickets online, they ignored us. (I assume they work on commission.) They also didn’t seem to have enough information about the attractions, which stops lead to them, or the ticket options. I think Big Bus should definitely work on training those staff to provide accurate information and be more helpful with directions and ticket details.

The Big Bus Tour is was perfect for our first time in NYC. It allowed us to see everything we wanted to see, and save some steps along the way. The narration between stops was very cool and we learned things we definitely would not have otherwise known. They provide ear buds and maps. Some drivers were friendlier than others, but the ones who were, were SO kind and helpful. We did the 2 day option, and had our Empire State Building ticket and Circle Line Liberty Cruise tickets as part of the package. Use of these were seamless. When I had issue on Day 1, the Big Bus customer service was able to fix it for me quickly. I highly recommend and will be using them for any city we visit.
