Never use this company! I mistakingly didn't use saved up points on a booking and when I realized I incurred new charges on my credit card, I called them and they had no mercy! So I lost just over $400 with them. They could've credited me points at least, but they wouldn't! I fly avelo frequently,. My checkin luggage was 4 pounds over (Christmas gifts) it was a flat charge of $100 on top of the normal check in luggage fee. My last trip i was assigned a middle seat on a mostly empty flight and the stewardess would not let me change seats to one of the 2 empty seats directly next to me.

We have had 0 issues and used Avelo more than 4 times to travel to Burbank from Pasco. An inexpensive option for a large family! I have heard some horror stories but again we have had nothing but good experiences and hope that continues! Love that we fly to small airports also because it’s easy to get luggage and so fast! All our flights have been on time regardless of time of day.
