We arrived in Juneau Alaska on a cruise ship with no planned excursions. We wanted to get away from the cruise ship tours and see more of the local culture and scenery. I seen Maria on google and called and she had availability. She arrived within 20 minutes from our call and I must say it was the best tour we have ever had. She took us to see the old mines, seals, salmon hatchery, the glacier, wildlife, the old city and much more. She was so informative and her personality was wonderful. You can definitely tell she loves Juneau. Definitely don’t listen to the cruise ships and definitely book local. The cruise ships tours get a cut and it does not help the local tour guides. We spent less than half of what the cruise ship tours were charging and had a fantastic time with a private tour guide. Definitely book with Maria and she will give you a grand tour. We are coming back next year and will definitely be booking with Maria again.

Maria was absolutely incredible ! She met our group of 8 at the cruise pier exactly as planned and was there 30 mins early waiting for us ! Maria’s commentary on our way to Mendenhall Glacier and Nugget Falls was very informative and interesting … after we hiked for 2 1/2 hours Maria was back waiting to pick us up exactly when and where she says she would be. On our way back to the cruise ship she took us to “Whale” park and gave us a great tour of Juneau too. We could not have asked for a better day … Maria made our visit to Juneau incredible ! Thank you again !!!

We thought we were just hopping in a taxi to get from point A to point B in Juneau but ended up getting an incredible personal tour we’ll never forget! Our driver went above and beyond, sharing local stories, hidden gems, and fun facts you’d never hear on a big tour. From stunning scenic stops to the best views of the glacier and even a spot to see eagles, it felt like we had our own local guide.

Found Maria as a randomly assigned driver for our large group, to our suprise, she was one of the best, most enthusiastic tour guides. We wanted to see salmon during spawning season, and she redirected us to the hatchery and it was the best decision. She also pointed out all the best spots in town including the whale fountain and the many bald eagles. Would highly recommend any time!!!

Maria is one heck of a person!! In the best possible way. After hoping she'd be available to assist my mother and I during our first time in Juneau/Alaska, we had no idea how much of a special treat we were in for!😍Besides fabulous drives, airport rides, wonderful anecdotes, conversations & recommendations, a special trip to the Arboretum and Shrine, eagle and bear watching (so divine!!!), picking us up at an ungodly hour for our return flight😉, sweet treats, photos, and more delights...we sincerely appreciate(d) her warmth, sincerity and kindness above all! ♥️ Thank you so much, Maria.
