5 Stars – Great Experience, Awesome Driver Carter was our driver, tour guide, and comedian all rolled into one for our trip from the port to the Mendenhall Glacier, and he made the whole experience fantastic. Not only was he a safe and reliable driver, but he also kept the ride engaging with his fun sense of humor, lighthearted jokes, and entertaining stories about the area. At the same time, he was very knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts and history about Juneau, the glacier, and life in Alaska, which made the journey just as enjoyable as the destination itself. You could tell Carter genuinely enjoys what he does, and his energy and personality added so much to the experience. By the time we arrived, it felt less like a transfer and more like a guided tour with a friend. If you get the chance, definitely ride with Carter, you’ll have a safe, informative, and fun trip you won’t forget!

We did the Mendenhall Glacier and Gardens tour while on Royal Caribbean. With the stops, I wish the glacier were longer as an hour was not enough time to walk to the falls and see the visitor center, but it was still a great time. The Gardens were cool, and the tour guide was entertaining and informative, but I definitely would have rather spent the time seeing more of the Glaciers.

So we took a bus tour on 05-14 to the Mendenhall Glacier and whale watch. We rode with a wonderful driver bus 240 Todd T O Double D. He was very informative and an excellent bus driver. He was able to give us a lot of useful information and pointed out extra things along the way!

My wife and I took a cruise(RC) in September and one of our stops was Juneau. Our driver JC was wonderful. Funny, professional, and great at his job. His fun personality made our Whale watching excursion all the more memorable & fun!!!

Cat, our driver, did a great job in taking us to our whale expedition excursion in Juneau. She shared her wealth of knowledge of Juneau, along with a few jokes, during our trip to our excursion. She was a joy to interact with and made sure to highlight places of interest. We saw a beautiful balded eagle, Lamppost Larry, hanging out along the way.
